Bouquets on a budget

Options on wedding bouquets are very extensive these days but one thing that seems to be clear is the prices are mind boggling bordering on insane, no wonder brides have one to keep and one to biff into the single ladies grasping hands or unassuming eyes. Here are some affordable options that are also pretty and creative

Option 1
Food - raiding your elderly neighbour's vegetable garden or popping down to the fruit and vege shop

Not only are some vegetables very beautiful and bouquet worthy, it's also great if you get hungry half way through your Uncle Jims droning speech to have a little nibble on your bouquet like a tulle adorned rabbit.

pretty!
artichokes have hearts - possibly making them the most romantic option of the vegetables

lets not forget fruit
strawberries and lettuce
and herbs
rosemary - for remembrance (whats your name again?)
or wheat

Option 2
Take a drive down the road with a bucket and a decent pair of scissors

Now I am from the country and there is nothing like making a bunch of wild flowers from along the road side, later as an urban dweller I had no qualms stealing the occasional over hanging flower or two on the way to a hosts house to then present them with the unruly sight. If you are lucky enough to get married right on rose and jasmine season you can not only look great but smell great too - all for FREE!

Option 3
Clearing out the paper craft draw

I'm pretty much against paper bouquets as a general rule - but there is no denying that they are cheap and likely lots of fun to make. Here are some of the finest I could find...

Just don't use the obituaries

Option 4
Giving cat eyes at your most talented sewing friend till they cave and knit, weave, sew you a bouquet

Miaow
I love this one!
imagine catching this one - soft and no fear of eye damage
something old and something new - all in one
Grab your dog/cat/bird/rabbit and try and keep it from drooling on you, trying to tear your veil to shreds, pooping on your frock or nibbling at your vegetable bouquet
