White is sometimes not quite right....

Personally I love a good white dress but that doesn't mean I would choose white on the one day I get to have any dress I want no matter how elaborate. It wasn't until Queen Victoria busted out the eloborate white wedding dress for her own nuptials that wearing white became a tradition, one that frankly needs a bit of a shake up. It's a chance to be bright and colourful and even glittery, sometimes white just isn't right.

Here is a series of colourful examples to wet your ideas whistle - if anyone has examples of their own send them to me on my page

Black - the air of mystery

To wear black to a wedding is apparently something that  was very popular in the early Victorian era particularly in Scandinavia - nowadays its a bold move one that paid off in spades for this bride. Yowzers!
black, elegant and sequined - Amazing!
Orange - Social Communication

I don't know a single person who can pull off orange but this next woman looks so incredible I want to print out this photo and put it creepily on my wall.

amazeballs!

Yellow - Positivity and Cheerfulness

I love a great farm wedding, I imagine a large amount of frolicking would occurs and late night 'whoops i've had too many champagnes and have trodden in a cow pat' moments. This bride is not only wearing yellow but she has cowboy boots on! Cowboy boots people!
